# Will land in multiple locations be available at launch?

No, only Land Pixels within the initial launch location—New York—were available during the first LandRush event. Additional locations will be released over time through a phased approach, with new locations unlocking based on community governance.

$DSTRX holders will vote on which locations become available next. Within the first few years, a total of 12 major areas are planned for release, including:

New York, Rio de Janeiro, Singapore, El Salvador, Switzerland, Dubai, Miami, San Francisco, London, Tokyo, Paris, and Hong Kong

Together, these locations account for a total of 1,134,169 Land Pixels, representing 0.023% of the total global land area of the Districts map.

This phased-LandRush strategy ensures that land availability aligns with community demand and governance decisions, fostering a sustainable, decentralized expansion of Districts rather than opening all locations simultaneously.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.districts.xyz/districts/tutorials-and-faqs/frequently-asked-questions/will-land-in-multiple-locations-be-available-at-launch.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
