# What can you do in Districts?

Initially, users can engage in activities such as claiming virtual land, but future plans include building structures or entire environments within the platform.

Districts will roll out in phases, unlocking more functionality over time:

* Phase 1 – LandRush (Launch): Claim virtual land parcels—called Land Pixels—during the LandRush event. This is your first opportunity to secure ownership of land in Districts, with the initial minting focused on New York. With the initial mint of a Land Pixel, users receive $DSTRX, the governance token of Districts. $DSTRX holders can vote on future expansions, platform updates, and new features, directly influencing the development and direction of the platform.
* Phase 2 – Build: Once you own land, you will be able to build and design structures or entire environments on your parcel. Districts will provide creative tools so you can construct and personalize your virtual space to reflect your vision.
* Phase 3 – Interact: In later stages, Districts will enable interactive experiences on your land. Users will be able to explore, socialize, and engage with each other’s creations, bringing the virtual city to life.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.districts.xyz/districts/tutorials-and-faqs/frequently-asked-questions/what-can-you-do-in-districts.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
